Our Setting
We provide a range of childcare choices, detailed above.
Our Breakfast and Afterschool Club accommodates children aged 2 years and older.
Each session can accommodate a maximum of 30 children. Please adhere to the designated pick-up times, as our staff and premises are not covered by insurance beyond these hours. In the interest of child safety, children will only be released to their parent/guardian, unless alternate arrangements have been made in advance.
Session allocation is the responsibility of the manager.
Keyperson
Our keyperson system gives each member of staff particular responsibility for just a few children. Each child in the group has one special adult to relate to, which can make settling into the group very much easier. In addition, the keyperson is in a position to tailor the group's curriculum to the unique needs of each individual child. The keyperson maintains links with the child's home setting, working with parents through shared record keeping to ensure that all children are supported in reaching their full potential.
Record Keeping
With so many adults helping at the Pre-School, we are able to implement an excellent record keeping system in which observations of the children in the group and at home are used as a basis for drawing up a curriculum for each child. All of your child's records are available for you to see.
